Friendly and Reliable Respite Care

Whether someone is staying with us for a few days or a few months, we will make sure their recovery is handled by an experienced team of nurses and carers to the highest standards. They will be welcomed into our community, and will be very much part of the family no matter how short their stay.

We have the expertise to make sure that any care requirements associated with their recovery are handled correctly, and our staff are available 24/7 no matter what they need. Our dedicated nurses and healthcare practitioners will have them back on their feet in no time.

We Support Our Fellow Carers

Caring for an elderly relative can be hard work; you give everything to make sure they have the care, support, and attention they need. We know first-hand that this can be physically, mentally, and emotionally draining sometimes.

Don't carry that weight all by yourself. Sometimes the best way to care for someone is to let someone else take over for a short time. It means they still get the dedicated care they need, but it allows you to recharge so you can then carry on caring for them in the best way possible. Let Westside Nursing Home share the load; allow us to take care of your loved one on a short term basis, so you can take a break.

A Caring and Welcoming Atmosphere

Even short term residents will be able to enjoy all the benefits of life with us. Our staff are always there to have a laugh or a natter, and we provide a great range of activities and entertainment.

New friends will be made, and soon you'll look forward to regular visits to your second home. You may even find that when the time comes, you will want to move in with us and take advantage of our full time residential care service.

Day Care

Excellent Day Care Service

At Westside Nursing Home, we are more than happy to welcome people who just want to pop in for a full or half day. We offer the chance to get out and meet new people, take part in some fun activities, and receive care and support from fully qualified nurses.

We can work around the requirements of families who want to make sure their loved one gets a well-deserved treat, whilst also giving them the opportunity to take a breather from their role as a carer.

We Make Sure Your Relatives Have a Great Day

If you want to give your loved one a regular treat, our daycare service is a fantastic option. It allows you to have the day to yourself, and do something you perhaps wouldn't be able to otherwise if you were attending to them.

Our experienced healthcare team will look after them in any way they require, whilst making sure they have a great day mingling with the rest of our happy residents. We hope to see them soon, and who knows; maybe they will enjoy their visits enough that want to become a full-time member of the family!
